# Set Up SSO

> Configure SAML 2.0 single sign-on for your organization. Available for customers on request.

Let your team sign in to Friendli Suite through your company's identity provider (IdP).

FriendliAI does not currently support automated user provisioning (SCIM or Directory Sync); members are created on first SSO sign-in. If your organization needs SCIM-based provisioning, contact FriendliAI.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Request SSO">
    SSO is available on request. To request SSO, complete the following steps:

    1. Open the [contact form](https://friendli.ai/contact).
    2. Enter your name, email address, job title, and company name.
    3. When you describe your request, include your SSO provider and the email domains your organization uses to sign in.
    4. Complete the rest of the form. Then, click **Submit**.

    FriendliAI reviews your request.

  <Step title="Set Up Your SSO">
    If FriendliAI approves your request, you'll get a setup link. Open it and follow the onscreen instructions.

  <Step title="Create a SAML Application in Your IdP">
    In your identity provider's admin console, create a new SAML 2.0 application, then follow the onscreen instructions in the setup portal. The portal provides provider-specific guidance.

  <Step title="Configure Service Provider Details">
    Copy the **ACS URL** and **Audience URI (SP Entity ID)** from the setup portal and paste them into the corresponding fields in your SAML configuration.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Link Your IdP Metadata">
    Copy the metadata URL from your IdP and enter it in the setup portal to link the connection. If your IdP does not provide a metadata URL, enter the SSO URL, Entity ID, and X.509 certificate manually.

  <Step title="Test and Activate">
    Sign in through your IdP to verify the connection works, then activate the connection.
