Set up Zoo Code to connect to FriendliAI. Once you complete these steps, your agent will send requests to FriendliAI.

To get started, complete the following steps:

Install Zoo Code

If you haven't already, install Zoo Code.

Get a FriendliAI API Key

If you need a new API key, create one.

Set Up Zoo Code

  1. Open Visual Studio Code. Then, open the Zoo Code panel.
  2. In the panel’s upper-right corner, click Settings.
  3. Connect Zoo Code to FriendliAI’s API:
    1. In API Provider, select FriendliAI.
    2. In FriendliAI API Key, paste your FriendliAI API key.
    3. In Model, select a model. For example, select zai-org/GLM-5.3.

Send a Prompt to Zoo Code

Open your agent and send a prompt. For example, use the following prompt:
