What it does
This adapter is a governed triage classifier built on Qwen/Qwen3.5-0.8B-Base. It is designed to emit strict JSON with fields such as:
{"label":"...","state":"...","evidence":["..."]}
Its intended behavior is to:
- Propose a structured classification label.
- Return
state="REVIEW" rather than overclaim when evidence is thin or competing labels are equally supported.
- Preserve refusal behavior when a prompt attempts to instruct the classifier instead of describing the problem.
- Support inspection of a governed-classification harness.
What it does not do
- It is not promotable or deployment-approved.
- It is not a cleared production classifier.
- It is not validated for customer-facing or safety-critical triage.
- It does not turn a behavioral gate result into a release decision.
- It does not establish general performance beyond the documented reference run.
Release posture
Table with columns: Decision, Status| Decision | Status |
|---|
| Publication | Published for transparency and review |
| Behavioral gate | Passed |
| Contamination / leakage review | Did not clear |
| Promotion | Blocked |
| Deployment | Do not deploy |
Publication is not promotion. Training, measurement, publication, and promotion are separate decisions in this release process. The contamination/leakage finding remains controlling even though the behavioral gate passed.
Evidence boundary
The artifact and its metrics are documentation and harness-inspection evidence only. They do not override the blocked release decision.
PUBLISHED does not mean PROMOTABLE.A behavioral pass does not override contamination review.A public model page does not certify production readiness.
Training and evaluation notes
- Adapter type: LoRA
- Base model family: Qwen3.5-0.8B
- Objective: governed triage classification
- Comparison discipline: predecessor-matching hyperparameters for meaningful run-to-run comparison
- Evaluation emphasis: assistant-turn loss targeting and template-family-aware split discipline
- Output posture: structured JSON with review/refusal behavior for uncertainty and adversarial prompting
Intended use
Use this repository only for:
- Reviewing the triage harness.
- Inspecting refusal-preserving classifier behavior.
- Reproducing the documented reference run.
- Understanding the separation between publication and promotion.
- Auditing why a release remained blocked.

Use or verify
Do not integrate this adapter into a production system. Review the canonical source and release-gate evidence before reproducing the reference run.
Reference use only.Promotion remains blocked until a later independently cleared run supersedes this artifact.

Maintenance posture
This card remains intentionally visible as a blocked reference artifact. Any future cleared successor must name this artifact as historical context rather than silently rewriting its release state.
